Introducing The World's First Twitter Beer

Assuming it's Friday, you've had a long week and all you want to do is put your feet up and have a beer. Instead of going for the traditional drinks, how about one that was created through social media .
ABC News report that UK brewery BrewDog has created a new beer called #MashTag, the world's first alcoholic drink to be developed entirely by social media users.
To be truly democratic, the Scottish-based brewery allowed users online to decide what ingredients were used to brew it as well as the label design and the name. The result was a "7.5% American Brown Ale loaded with New Zealand hops and aged on Hazelnuts and Oak chips."
Over the course of five days during the last week of March, BrewDog gave fans on its Facebook, Twitter and blog to vote on a new category each day. 5,000 votes later, the end result was announced at the end of May. A spokesperson described the drink to ABC News as 'very Christmas-y' since the 15 kilo of hazelnuts used in the brewing process brought a 'nuttiness to it.'
